For Individuals

  • Initial assesment - This enables me to access the severity of your problem/s and advise if CBT is the correct and most effective treatment for you. It also allows you to decide if you feel CBT will be right for you. I will then provide you with a clinical formulation which will be used to plan your CBT. This takes one or two sessions.

  • Face to face hourly sessions - Your sessions will usually take place weekly and last for one hour.

  • Home visits - Your sessions can be done in your own home where you feel comfortable and where I can observe the home environment to enhance the assessment

  • Email and phone sessions - Hourly CBT session conducted by either phone or email

  • Homework - Most weeks you will be expected to complete homework - Don't worry this is not a test! We will together set objectives for you to practice and you will make notes on these objectives in a diary throughout the week. The homework is essential for your success.

  • I am available for both face to face sessions and email and phone sessions Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am to 5pm - however I can be flexible and arrange sessions in the evenings and weedends for those who work
